Dear Friends:
We would like to thank all of you who responded to the last 2 Sundays invitation to “Stewardship” and expressed their willingness to help with building up our Christian community by taking on a special ministry, by volunteering and serving this community or by being a member of a particular group within our community.
If we are true followers of Christ we always want to grow, come closer to Him, be more like him as individuals and as a community.
At the beginning of a new season in our parish life we are again starting up a number of programs which are necessary and will help us to get a better understanding of Christ, and to grow stronger in our faith.
R.C.I.A. (for adults); Sacramental Programs for First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and Confirmation. Children’s liturgy on Sundays at 11am, Altar servers training, Bible Study, Workshops for Ministries and others. All of these will bear fruit but we have to pray to the Lord of the harvest for his blessing. He alone makes things grow after we did our part.
If the Lord does not build the house
In vain do its builders labour;
If the Lord does not watch over the city,
In vain does the watchman keep vigil”
Dear friends, there is no way that we will “function” as a Christian community and as individuals without prayer, and none of us can be excused from that duty,
God bless you!
