Dear Parishioners

Greetings and love to you from Fr. Paul Raj. Hope you are doing well. You are always in my prayers. I am praying daily for you and your family in my daily Mass and in my personal prayers. Please pray for me too. I am very much missing seeing all of you. Hope soon everything will become normal and we will able to resume our regular services. May God and Mary our Mother Bless us all.

I just want to give you some important information about the Holy week Masses. Kindly share these with those of your friends who are not in the email list. If you want to watch live Masses during the Holy Week, kindly log on to the diocese website and watch Masses live that are celebrated by our dear Bishop at St. Mary’s Cathedral church, Calgary.

Holy Thursday: April 9 at 7pm

Good Friday: April 10 at 3pm

Below the Masses that I will be celebrating during the Holy Week

I will be celebrating all three weekend Masses Saturday at 5.00 pm, Palm Sunday at 9.00 am and 11.00 am in our church St. Cecilia’s all by myself. I will be closing all the church doors and saying the Mass in closed church. I must do this to keep the laws and rules in mind. I can not allow anybody to join me. You can join me from your home spiritually. I am also going to bless all the palms in all three weekend Masses as the palms have arrived two weeks ago.

I will be celebrating the Holy Thursday Mass at 8.00 pm,

on Good Friday Way of the Cross at 10.00 am and the Veneration of the Cross at 3.00 pm

on Holy Saturday the Easter Vigil at 8.00 pm and

on Easter Sunday the Easter Masses at 9.00 am and 11.00 am.

All these Masses and services I will be celebrating in our church St. Cecilia’s all by myself. The church doors will be kept closed on these times in order to follow the rules and regulations. I can not allow anyone to join me in these Masses and services. Kindly join me from your home spiritually and pray to God as we celebrate the Easter let the world and all humanity be resurrected from this crisis. God Bless.

With love and prayers

Fr. Paul Raj
