Dear Friends:
Today we celebrate on the last Sunday of the Church year the Solemnity of Christ The King. The gospel shows us Christ as the final judge of all humanity and his principle of justice is simple:”What you did to the least of my brothers and sisters you did to me!”
As we wrap us our year let us remember to wrap up something for our Christmas Hampers, Let us wrap up our TIA collection, let us support our parish and Diocese with a generous heart and hand.
When we begin with Advent next Sunday let us all be candles who shine brightly in the night of despair and suffering. Only through the Gods invitation we will bring people on our pilgrimage to the Lord till he comes.
We also we honour our Patroness St. Cecilia, Virgin and Martyr, who gave her life for her beloved Lord and King. We will celebrate this role of hers with a devotional concert this Sunday evening with Our choir, dances, musical families, soloists, accordion ensembles and so on.
Our evening begins at 6pm with ethnic food snacks followed by the concert. So come out and bring your friends and family and your special dish and enjoy the company of our community and entertainment from our own parishioners.
Next Sunday the First Sunday of Advent when we begin the new Liturgical Year and the new changes in the liturgy is a time to thank the Lord who for his blessings these past years.. We welcome these changes that will bring us closer to the Lord and help us to worship him, and adore him .
