Legion of Mary The Legion of Mary is a worldwide Catholic association whose members serve the Church under the guidance of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Its main purpose is the holiness of its members and helping others grow closer to Jesus through Mary. Meetings are held Fridays, 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm in the Boardroom, where the choirs practice. Those interested are invited to take a Volunteer Sign-Up brochure from the pamphlet rack and select the Legion of Mary option.

46th Annual Hike for Life This fundraiser supports Respect Life education in local Catholic schools and communities and promotes the dignity of every human life from conception to natural death. All are welcome on Saturday, May 9 at Prince’s Island Park, Enmax Stage, Calgary. The morning includes a community walk, live music by Eric Reinhart & Friends, a BBQ lunch, refreshments, and prizes. Sign-up sheets are available in the narthex.

Mass Intention Requests

Parishioners are welcome to request Mass intentions for the living or deceased. Mass intentions are currently being accepted for 2026. To ensure your Mass intentions are properly recorded, please use only the designated envelopes found in the pews or the pamphlet rack.

Please include the name of the person, indicate RIP (Rest in Peace) or Living, and your preferred Mass date. If unavailable, the next available date will be assigned. Mass stipends may be submitted by e-transfer to Office@stceciliacalgary.com or by envelope in the collection basket or parish office marked “Mass Intention.”

A confirmation email will be sent once the request and offering are received.
